Sonny's Story...
Sonny: 1 yr old black & rust male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 9", 14 lb. Fully vetted. Owner give-up.
Sonny is a Dachsund Min Pin mix. He is s very happy dog full of energy and life. He loves to run around the yard wagging his tail and chasing squirrels. He loves toys especially anything that squeaks, but use caution because the toys don't usually last very long. Sonny also has a special talent of tree climbing so he will need to be on a leash or supervised at all times. He is very sweet and loves to snuggle and sit on your lap. He also likes to go places and is a good car rider. Sonny is crate and house trained. He is also good with other dogs. If Sonny sounds like the perfect dog for you please fill out an application. He would love to have a forever home.
Note: Sonny is located in Nashville, TN - and we will not fly this boy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonny, a Nashville Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Dachshund/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
