AERO's Story...
This little beauty is Aero. Aero is a lovely polydactyl kitty, age 17, declawed, a petite 7-8 lbs, and in perfect health (medical records available). Aero is looking for a new home because she’s unhappy in the one she’s spent most of her life in -- she does not like the owner’s husband. When they first started dating, Aero let her displeasure be known by peeing outside the litterbox. Well, that didn’t stop the romance from blossoming and wedding bells from ringing. But here we are, 12 years later, and Aero still has not warmed up to the husband. So we want to find her a home where she’ll be happy and well adjusted again. Aero is a very sweet kitty, still playful and loving. She has lived with other kitties and an Akita with no problems, but we feel it’s her turn now to be accommodated finally, so we’re looking for a special home for Aero without other pets, and where she can get the focus she longs for and deserves. To meet Aero, CONTACT director@milagropets.org or 888.827.4103. Placement fee and home inspection apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

AERO, a Phoenix Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
