My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little darling came into our rescue after we received a call at 1 o'clock in the morning that an abandoned kitten was found down at our local rail museum. She sure was a hungry gal when she came in! She had obviously not spent time with people but she soon learned that it was ok to trust the people that she was with. It took a few days but she now purrs when you hold her and has become a real sweetheart. She has settled into her new foster home and is enjoying the attention she is now getting. She is just 8 weeks old right now- we estimate she was born around April 1st. If you are looking to expand your family with the pitter patter of little paws why not give her a chance- she could be just what you are looking for.

Please email us only regarding the adoption of our felines. We are very sorry but we simply do not have time to return everyone's phone calls. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Please email bocharski@verizon.net to get an adoption application for sweet little abandoned kitten emailed to you. Please be sure to write sweet kitten in the subject line of the email so it does not get caught in our junk-mail filter. Please hurry! She will be waiting!

Why Adopt?

Adopting rather than shopping for your next pet will help to reduce the number of animals euthanized. Adopting a pet actually saves TWO LIVES as you free up space for another animal in need to find lasting love through the wonder of adoption.

You’ll get a pet who is spayed or neutered, vaccinated and healthy.
As opposed to purchasing or getting a “free to a good home” pet, you’ll welcome a fully-vetted companion animal in to your life.

Contrary to popular belief, the vast majority of shelter pets are homeless through no fault of their own. Divorce, financial constraints, time limitations and NOT the animal’s health &/or behavior are the most common reasons an animal is left homeless.

You’ll save money.
Many pets in the shelter system are already spayed or neutered and if not, shelters often receive a discount from their participating veterinarian and passes the savings on to the adoptive family. Also, adoption fees are much less expensive than buying from a breeder or pet store.
