Harmony Rescue, Inc. is a dream of giving back and simply helping animals anyway we can with what we have. The mission of Harmony Rescue is to create and manage a safe haven environment for domestic animals that need extra care and to serve as an extension of other non-profit animal organizations promoting the prevention of cruelty to animals. We pursue this mission through the development of services, facilities, education, and projects. Harmony Rescue is a fun place to hang out that allows our four legged clients (and their human companions) to play, relax, or socialize.
Come Meet Our Pets...
You may visit us at 5292 Browns Mill Rd in Rustburg, VA. We do live here and are typically here 24x7 but do require appointments. Please call us at 434.821.3544 for an appointment. We do have open hours on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm.
Volunteers: Please determine your location to ours before signing up. We would love to have you but realize distance is a factor. Volunteering has to be worth your time and the animals over a period of time.
Our Adoption Process...
Adopting an animal from Harmony Rescue is a family decision. All our processes and application supports this. this ensures we all find the right match animal to human and vise versa. Our adoption fees range from $25 (rodents) to $150 (dogs) and $250-$300 (horses). All animals are provided basic medical care and maintained for as long as they are here. We do require an application to be filled out online which will provide us the detail we need to help you find the right companion. For more detail, please visit our adoption page at http://www.harmonyrr.com/Pages/AdoptionProcess.html
