Dolli is a happy and extremely friendly cockatiel. She has a bit of a handicap when it comes to her foot, but that does not stop her from getting around her cage or her playpen. Dolli loves crackers, mash potatoes, macaroni, cereal (cheerios, honey nut and apple cinnamon)—well, Dolli loves all food (she does not like to be hand feed, but will eat anything you give her in her bowl) but we are working on converting her to a healthier diet of a pellet and good seed mix (no sunflower seeds!) along with fresh veggies and fruits. Dolli loves to sing and loves your attention! She is nervous when being picked up, but will calm down as soon as you hold her close. She is good with other birds and tries to mimic them when they talk, she will also try to mimic the dogs when they bark. Dolli will need someone who is patient and will go slow allowing her to get to know you. She is great with kids (10 and up) and likes both men and women.
