Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheldon is a 3-year-old Miniature Poodle, or Miniature Poodle mix weighing a little over ten pounds. He was rescued from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter on the day that he was to be euthanized. He was so matted that he had to be shaved down completely and his coat started over. His video shows what he looks like shaved, but his new photos which we have updated show his coat growing out. Trust me, he will get cuter as he become fluffier! Sheldon, being a Miniature Poodle, is HYPOALLERGENIC and low (or no) shedding which is a huge plus.
Sheldon is a very sweet, affectionate, quiet boy. He has a cute way of asking for attention. He lifts both of his paws up like he is waving but his paws never really makes contact. It is almost like a “high five.” He loves going for walks and car rides; he gets happy when he hears the car keys jingle. Sheldon's favorite activity is cuddling in a lap or with another cuddly pet. He has been seen on several occasions snuggling with my Chiweenie, Charlie, in the same crate or dog bed.
Sheldon knows his basic commands, sleeps well in his crate at night, is housebroken, and is learning how to use the doggie door. He is comfortable with new people, even when someone comes to the door. Sheldon just wants someone to cuddle with, though he does love his raw hide chews too! He is not too comfortable with a lot of unregulated energy, for example, an overly energetic dog who keeps jumping on him. He seems to want a quieter home. His best fit would be in a home with either a single person, a couple, or one with older children. He would be fine with cats and other dogs.
Sheldon is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped.
