Malibu's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Malibu's Story...
Malibu is a 4-6yr old Lhasa Apso and/or Shih tzu mix female weighing about 20lbs. Her fur is shaved down currently but will probably need regular grooming. She is a very sweet and quiet girl who gets along with everyone. She adores children of all ages and gets along well with dogs. She loves back scratches and pets, laying by your feet or up on the back of your chair, or outside with you! She is completely housebroken.

Malibu has been examined by a vet, spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She has also been fecal tested (and dewormed if needed) and heartworm tested. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.

The adoption application is available at www.hope4paws.com.
The application can be emailed to Molly at Hallamart@sbcglobal.net.
The adoption fee for Malibu of $275 covers all vetting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Malibu, a Plainfield Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
