LUCY's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

LUCY's Story...
Lucy is a year old Border Collie/ Lab. mix. she has youthful exuberance and is up for anything - running companion, swimming, playground romps - yes, she plays on structures and knows how to go down the slide by herself ! This sweetie is good with other dogs, loves her humans but does not tolerate cats. She is crate trained, house trained and uses doggy doors like a champ.
Lucy is not afraid of vacuum cleaners or lawn mowers. She really just wants to be a part of all that is going on in the house or out in the yard. She knows how to wait and walks well on leash.
She also knows how to get along at the dog park. After a busy, active day, this cute gal likes nothing more than to curl up on her bed next to yours and sleep peacefully all night .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LUCY, a Patterson Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Patterson, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Patterson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Patterson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Patterson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Patterson paves the way for another one to be saved.
