My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mother: Pancake

Saved by the bell! Boy do these kittens have timing.

Their mother was living in deplorable conditions before coming to New Lease on Life. Her former owners didn’t want her anymore because she was pregnant, so they were giving her away for free to whoever showed up. That could have had a very bad, very sad ending, but luckily she wound up with one of our foster parents instead of a much worse fate.

And the timing couldn’t have been better. Just four days after arriving, she hopped up on her foster mom’s son’s bed and gave birth to five adorable kittens. She was quite pleased with herself for waiting long enough to have them where it was safe.

It was incredible timing on her part, and it has worked out beautifully for her kittens. They have grown up spoiled from Day 1. Whatever they wanted, they got, and Pancake, their mother, got to raise her kids in luxury. Plenty of soft beds to sleep on.. .. plenty of yummy food to eat.. .. and best of all, plenty of hands to pet them, day or night.

Don’t miss their awesome play video!

These kittens have seen it all. They grew up in a busy house. Not only were there other cats to play with, but they had two big dogs to lick them from head to toe and kids running through the house. And it hasn’t phased them one bit. They’ve loved it all.

But now it’s time for them to finally move on to new homes where they can each have their very own family. They have already been spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested (negative), vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated, so they’re ready and waiting.

You can meet the kittens at the shelter any time during adoption hours, Thursday through Sunday 5 to 8pm, or give us a call at 330–397–8270 to schedule an appt to meet them at another time or on another day.

Momma Pancake is looking for a great home, too!
