6/6/12 - Toby was found wandering the streets of Charlotte and ended up in doggy prison, also known as animal control. Unfortunately his family never came to get him. The shelter staff told YHR what a good boy Toby was, and they were right. Tomorrow Toby goes into the dogtor to have his teeth cleaned and polished as well as to have an umbilical hernia repaired. It isn't too common to have this type of hernia appear when a pup is older, but without knowing his history and whether he has had surgery there before we cannot be sure of why it would appear now. He is a very loving and happy go lucky little guy that has never met a stranger. He took to his name immediately and seems to really like it. He is house trained and tries to play with the older pups in the house, but they will not have any of that, they are too old to be playing! He is a very kissy little boy and even likes to kiss the other dogs. Anytime you laugh or talk or sound happy he comes running with his tail wagging and wants to kiss you all over. He will pick up a toy and just prance around the house with it in his mouth and has even run around the yard with the toy in his mouth. He also enjoys chewing on bones. He is one person's loss and a huge gain for whomever his new family may be. Is your family the right family for Toby?
