Bunny and Lucky are now safe. Their elderly original owner was unable to care for the dogs, and her son took them away from her and brought them to the county shelter were they were scheduled to be euthanized. Fortunately, we were able to pull them and get them in better shape so they are now ready for adoption.
Bunny and Lucky are mellow and sweet. These two doxies are a retired person’s dream. They demand little more than a healthy diet and a nice walk about the neighborhood every day. They like to explore the yard and bask in the sun. But most of all, they want to be with someone to love and pet them. Bunny is a cuddler; Lucky wants belly-rubs and to play a little ball. Lucky REALLY enjoys walking, Bunny is a bit slower (and weighs a bit more!). They are delightful, fun and funny. Lucky and Bunny both have dry eye which require drops daily and Buddy is also hard of hearing. It doesn’t slow him down for one second though.
Bunny and Lucky are reliably house trained and dog-door savvy. They have not had any accidents indoors at their foster home. They get along great with other small dogs, cats and children and are not big barkers. (except Bunny will bark when she wants treats!) Families with children over 6 years old would be fine for them. They have had all their vaccines brought up-to-date and have had their teeth cleaned and polished. They give sweet kisses.
If you can give Bunny and Lucky a wonderful home, please contact Carrie at caretoride@yahoo.com or call (707) 338-4377. An adoption application through NOAH’S BARK is required.
The tax deductible donation for Bunny and Lucky is $300.00 for both.
They are not available separately; don’t even ask.
