found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
My foster family says they are enjoying having me around, they call me a goofy, happy girl. I live with 2 cats and 2 other dogs right now. I do very well with all of them. I'm just finally starting to play with them a bit. But, I am more attached to my people and enjoy them more.
I love to carry my toys around the house and to play fetch in the yard. I like to be pet and don't mind being brushed either. I was just at the vet and got a clean bill of health, well........I was told that I should lose a few pounds, that doesn't sound like fun. I know some commands like sit, down, come, stay.....but if I'm super excited it is sometimes hard for me to obey because I'm just so happy I can't contain myself.
A year or so ago I hurt my tail by wagging it so hard (yep, I get THAT excited) and it broke. So, the nice doctors had to take a bit of it off to keep it healthy....it's just a little shorter than some of the other tails I've seen on labs.
Oh, you should also know that I do not like to be kenneled, whether it be in a crate or a boarding kennel. It is just too stressful for me and I will try to chew my way out. When I first came to my foster home they told me I should stay in the kitchen alone while they were at work. Well, they put up these things called baby gates.....well those are no problem to either knock over or jump over! I guess their idea didn't work! From that point on I have had free run of the house and have not caused any problems at all (I'm such a good girl!)
But, I am a typical young lab.....I have lots of energy, I have lots of kisses to give, I have a love of food, and I have a lot of love to give to my new family!
I hope you call to meet me!
