Lucky Lucy's Story...

Lucky Lucy is a very petite kitty with a big heart, weighing in at only 6 lbs!  This little lady is loves to play with her toys, use the scratching post, and give kisses.   In her first 2 years of life she was never exposed to other animals so she's still learning that she's not human.  She has shown great improvement and now seeks some mild companionship with "Cornbread" her current housemate.

HISTORY:  Owned since a tiny kitten by an elder man, she was never exposed to other animals and was very fearful.  She was rescued in May 2012 when the only other person she knew, her owner, failed to provide veterinary care & then abandoned her.  Owned by him since she was a tiny kitten, she was never exposed to other animals and seldom saw other humans, so she was very fearful.   She now seeks the attention of her housemate "Cornbread" and any human willing to pet her and she is doing much better when introduced to new animals & people.

SPECIAL NEEDS:  She has some mild hearing loss in her right ear and has had some teeth pulled due to stomatitis.  She eats dry kibble and does very well.  She does sometimes nip, but is improving.

ATTENTION!:  Due to TigeraCat Rescues, inc. closing ... This cat is in immediate need of shelter/adoption.  She is available for adoption or transfer to a licensed, no-kill organization.  Feel free to contact us if you have questions.

TigeraCat Rescues considers the health & care of animals a top priority and provides top-quality veterinary care.  All animals receive a  24PetWatch Microchip ID & a 30-day gift of ShelterCare Pet Insurance upon adoption.

Breed Disclosure: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we cannot guarantee their breed. We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.
