My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello World my name is Lucy, but my foster family calls me Lulu. I am a 3 year old petite beagle with an awesome personality, if I do say so myself! I am just getting used to this big world because I was recently retired from biomedical research. Don't worry I'm catching on really quick in my foster home; I already learned the stairs and I can sit on command.
I am a pretty mellow girl and love to snuggle.:) I really love playing with the other dogs in my foster home. Playing outside is my absolute favorite! I love roaming around the backyard sniffing the grass and chasing butterflies, but I also like snuggling up on the couch for a nap. So, that means other dogs would be great, and a fenced in yard would be required! I am a medium energy beagle so I would be great in a low to moderate activity home. Kids tend to startle me and make me bark, so a home without them would be best for me. :) I am still working on my house training, but I always keep my crate clean. I am searching for a loving and playful forever home where people like getting kisses and cuddling on the couch. If you fit the bill, were a match, I can't wait to meet you!!
