Newman's Story...
Meet Newman Pup! He and his brother Redford were found as strays and brought to a local shelter. They appear to be golden/lab mix, about 4 months old. They are very calm, sweet and loving and well mannered for young pups. Did we mention GORGEOUS. We would love to see them be adopted together. They also require a stay at home or work at home parent. Both boys seem healthy, happy and ready for a great golden life! If interested in adopting Newman and Redford, visit our website www.adoptagoldenknoxville.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Newman, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
