My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello friends! My name is Dudley, but my foster mom should have named me Doc. Let me tell you the story about how I came to live with my foster family. One day, I wasn't feeling so hot. My teeth hurt, my ear hurt and I really needed a drink! So, I went where any smart beagle would--the emergency room at the local hospital. Makes sense, right? Well apparently the nurses there didn't speak beagle (what do they teach in school these days??) so they couldn't help me, but they called some other nurses who came and got me and took me to another place with lots of dogs and cats. They fixed my teeth, my ear and got me all ready to go. So the only thing left now is to fix this family-shaped hole in my heart. My foster mom thinks that I never really had a family of my own. Being inside a house was scary for me at first, but I've adapted pretty well--I'm dozing on the couch right now as my foster mom takes dictation. I am still working on housetraining, but I am crate trained. There are two little boys here that I love, especially at mealtimes! I'm a medium sized, quiet beagle guy--the only time my foster mom has heard me bark is when I see a rabbit in the yard. Oh, and I have two beagle foster brothers that I get along with really well too. In general I'm just a mild mannered, soft spoken beagle guy looking for a family of my own.
