Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bandit (2.66kg) was one of approximately 18 rabbits surrendered to a shelter that was unable to accommodate them. After a long, two days of travelling, He arrived at New Moon on 5 June 2012. Bandit was neutered on 8 June 2012 and is available for adoption.
Bandit is a friendly guy who likes to be petted and doesn't mind being picked up. He can be a bit timid with people he doesn't know but is sociable once he gets to know you a bit, and would love to stand on his hind feet to take food from your hand! The more comfortable he's gotten with us, the more of his personality we've been seeing and he is very mild-mannered. The only thing he's particular about is the way his cage is arranged (he'll do the decorating - you clean as needed and otherwise leave it to him!).
He is an excellent hay-eater and loves his greens as well. Bandit has excellent litter habits. He will never pee anywhere other than his litter pan and even with other rabbits in the house, he only ever leaves 1 or 2 poops around (or none) when he's out. He's also not a big chewer. The only thing he seems to chew is his cardboard box. He loves to sit in it and play with it while he is out for run time. Bandit has lived with dogs and is currently living with cats and there are no problems at all.
Because of Bandit’s size (2.66kg/5.86lbs), he would be best in a free roam or partially free roam home.
