My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dallas is a fluffy, little white dog that loves human company. He has an independent spirit, is intelligent, affectionate, bold and lively. This charming, gentle dog is not a yapper. He has a self-assured, happy temperament that is easy to live with. These bright little dogs are easy to train and just plain old love everyone. He needs people to be happy. Naturally sociable and is happiest when he is part of a family that takes him everywhere. This sociable trait also means that he is fine in the company of other dogs & pets and are excellent with dogs savvy children.

He is leashtrained and rides well in cars. We were told that he is totally housetrained as well. Smart and alert. Great lap dog!!!

This breed should be groomed frequently and bathed every month. Professional grooming is recommended every 4 weeks. The Bichon sheds little to no hair. This is an active little dog who needs a daily walk to keep him fit, happy and healthy.

Dallas is about 5 years old and weights around 17 lbs (on the larger side of the breed). Full grown.
This poor dog was turned in by his owner who was not able to keep him. He was turned in to a high kill shelter in GA and permission to have him euthanized was signed. Southern HOPE was asked to help him so he wouldn't get killed.

Dallas has been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative. The adoption fee also includes microchip registration. He is current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. you for your interest in Dallas. The rescue who is bringing Dallas has the information on Dallas's background. The rescue has asked Dog Days to pre-screen interested adopters for all of their dogs coming to our event.

APPLICATION FORM: http://godogdays.org/find-my-new-best-friend.htm (Copy and paste to browser.)

If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is June 23-24 at Chester Fairgrounds. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE.
