Gilly's Info...

Gilly's Story...
Gilly (2 yrs.) came to Tails High from one of the local high kill shelters to help nurse the orphaned sailboat kittens. She came to us with her own four kittens and helped share nursing duties with another cat. Her babies have finished nursing and are on their way to new homes so now Gilly is ready to go off on her own. This beautiful girl would probably love to be your one and only but will also do well in a home with another cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gilly, a Alexandria Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Alexandria, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Alexandria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alexandria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alexandria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alexandria paves the way for another one to be saved.
