My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Like the looks and personality of a Bernese or Swissy, but prefer a smaller package!? This could be your new best friend! ~~ Murphy is a playful, affectionate, gentle little fellow. We think he is probably a Greater Swiss Mt Dog mix or a Bernese Mt Dog mix. He has the classic tri colored markings of the breeds, but with a short, easy care coat. He just turned 2 years old. He's about 50 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs and all people, including children. Is gentle and submissive. Slightly timid for a few minutes but then warms up quickly. Loves belly rubs! Murphy is very social and affectionate. Learning to walk on a leash, learning about housetraining. ~~ We rescued him from a high kill shelter in rural Georgia. ~~ NOTE: We always require a securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, and certainly never shock collars ("invisible" systems.) No exceptions. Please thank you for understanding the long term safety & well being of the dog is our greatest priority. (photos available soon)
