My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This petite young lady appeared suddenly out the darkness one night… a big pair of gold eyes was all her rescuer saw and it gave her a little scare. She soon became known as “Miss Boo.”

Her hair is soft and silky now from daily brushings, but the night she was found, she was not looking her best. Boo was covered with mats that were down close to her skin. Her hair was so knotted that she had to have patches shaved away by the vet. For the first few weeks after her hair was detangled, it was painful for her to be touched; the mats had been pulling at her skin for quite some time and it took a while before she could be touched without wincing.

Now, she loves to be petted. Her favorite pastime is to sit on the couch with people, just relaxing, watching TV or ‘helping’ to read a book. Daily combing will help maintain her silky coat. She will repay you with purrs and a lifetime of companionship.

Miss Boo has excellent manners and never complains. She is not boisterous or unruly. Although she enjoys having visitors and is friendly to everyone she meets, she is also content to be on her own during the day while her foster parents are at work.

She gets along with the friendly dog and couple of cats in her foster home, but she isn’t one who needs an animal buddy. Boo loves people and we think she will bond deeply to her new human family.

She is spayed, up-to-date with her vaccinations and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She is about five years old.
