Frieda Loves Life!'s Story...
**Update** (6/12/12) Freida is doing very well with the other dogs in her temporary foster home. She seems to really enjoy playing with dogs her own size although she does just fine with smaller dogs too....and she is quite content to lie on the sofa and chew her nylabone. Freida is anxious to find her own family and settle into her new life. Are you the family that Freida is looking for? (4/1/12) Freida appears to be a brown boxer and lab mix who is about 8 years old, Freida was brought in to the shelter as a stray with her best friend, Dave. She is very sweet and has done well with other dogs. She loves attention. Freida weighs about 60lbs. Freida is now UTD on her vaccines, tested HW negative and is spayed. This girl deserves to know the love and security of having a family that cares about her. IF YOU CAN HELP US BY OFFERING TO FOSTER OR ADOPT FREIDA, PLEASE EMAIL AngelsAmongUsRS@live.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frieda Loves Life!, a Quentin Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Quentin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer dog from a breeder in Quentin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quentin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quentin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quentin paves the way for another one to be saved.
