Millie (Courtesy Listing)'s Story...
Millie:
Millie is a very pretty lab/pit/ terrier mix about 3 years old – Please don’t let the premature white on this sweet face mislead you!! and she is full of energy, playfulness, and love! But she is also very gentle and loves to sit in your lap, a real lover girl. She loves everybody – adults and kids. She is a muscular girl and very strong, but she does very well on a leash. She loves to play and run, and when she’s excited, she does this cute little face thing – she’s adorable. She gets along with some dogs, but would probably be better as an only dog. She is learning to leash walk with other dogs, and hopefully that will change her mind and she will soon like other dogs. Millie is currently being fostered, but she does have to spend a lot of time alone, so if she could find a foster home or a furever home where she could get a lot of attention, I know Millie would absolutely love to get that love and attention, and she will definitely pay you back with tons of her love. She is spayed, and current on shots and she’s on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. If you are interested in meeting Millie,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Millie (Courtesy Listing), a Richmond Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
