With ears attentive and ready for flight, Bijou is hoping to land in a wonderful forever home soon!

Bijou is a super cute girl, with flying nun ears, a sweet smile and a happy pitter-patter of her little paws as she prances around her foster home with the other dogs. From Dachsund's to Goldens and all sizes in between, she loves other dogs! She's a little bit shy of new people at first but quickly learning to trust. The first few days at her foster home she'd shyly peak around the corner into the living room to see what everyone was doing and then run back to the bedroom. Soon enough she began approaching her foster parents for affection and now she lays on a favorite dog bed in the middle of the living room, follows the family from room to room, inside and outside and enjoys being in the middle of whatever's going on. This silly girl is full of personality!

Bijou has an energetic and silly side too. She loves having a yard to explore, chasing grasshoppers, taking walks and she has a basketful of favorite squeaky and stuffy toys that she LOVES to play with!

Our adoption process includes an application, phone interview, and home visit. We strive to make the best match between adopter/dog so it is not first-come/ first-served.
