My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ace is a happy, outgoing young boy who loves people and gets along with other dogs. Affectionate. Enjoys being with people. Playful. Alert and very curious. Doesn't miss a thing. Clean and gentle. Smart. Rides well in cars and leash trained. Housetrained. Not a big barker. Highly intelligent.
Great pet for most families. Ideal playmate for older children and other dogs.
Short coat requires very little care. Regular brushing will keep the coat clean and free of dirt and dead hair. Bathe as needed. Daily exercise is important to keep him fit, happy and healthy both physically and mentally.
Ace was turned in along with his older brother, Bentley, by their Dad who as not able to keep them after a divorce. It was a very sad decision. These poor dogs couldn't understand why they were away from the people they knew all their lives. Luckily they had each other to comfort and to make each other feel safe. We would like to keep them together since they are each others best friends. They are good to each other and good for each other.
Ace is 2 years old and weights 15 lbs. Full grown. Docked tail.
This handsome boy has been neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and microchipped. He is also heartworm negative. The adoption fee also includes microchip registration. He is current on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.Thank you for your interest in Ace. The rescue who is bringing Ace has the information on Ace's background. The rescue has asked Dog Days to pre-screen interested adopters for all of their dogs coming to our event.

APPLICATION FORM: http://godogdays.org/find-my-new-best-friend.htm (Copy and paste to browser.)

If you would like to begin the application process, please fill in the form at the link above and we will review your information, call your personal and well as vet references. PLEASE Fill in the application if you're interested in adoption, this will save you time at the event. A letter from your vet on their letterhead will also be very helpful if they won't be open for us to call as a reference. If you are renting, please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property. Dog Days will be conducting interviews of prospective adopters. As a policy, Dog Days will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event by 11:00am Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend which is June 23-24 at Chester Fairgrounds. PLEASE NOTE THAT DOGS ARE GIVEN TO THE BEST HOME, NOT FIRST IN LINE.
