Buttons's Story...
Buttons is a VERY nice dog. He was turned into the shelter by his owners because they were moving and couldn‘t take him with them. Buttons is only about 1 ½ yrs old, weighs in around 60 pounds, and his kennel card says that he gets long with other dogs and lived in a home with two children ages 9 and 10. Quiet frankly, Buttons doesn’t have a clue why he’s at the shelter. He’s happy enough with all the attention from the staff and volunteers, but he desperately needs a family and home to call his own. Why don’t you come by and meet him in Buttons? Since he is already neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped, he can go home with you today!

Buttons is located at the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road, Spartanburg, SC 29303 (only one hour south of Charlotte, NC) or call (864) 583-4805 to inquire. This is a family friendly facility with an indoor visitation room as well as an outdoor play area. All the dogs are inside, with air conditioning, and have their own private kennel.

Buttons’ adoption fee is $85 which includes neuter surgery, Rabies, Distemper/Parvo & Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccinations, HW testing (Buttons is HW negative), worming, a 24PetWatch microchip, a free follow-up wellness checkup at the shelter's clinic, as well as 1 month of free pet insurance with PetHealth Services, Inc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buttons, a Inman Briard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Briard for sale in Inman, or seeking a Briard dog from a breeder in Inman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Briard breeders who help with Briard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inman paves the way for another one to be saved.
