Juanita's Story...
Juanita, 6lb female spayed Chihuahua, born in 2005, is very sweet with her humans, but can be a bit bossy with other dogs. This may be due to her being a breeder dog without much other dog socialization. Juanita is looking to start a life of her own in a loving home!
She is just now learning about potty training, again being kept in a cage most of her life she didn’t have the opportunity to be taken out and taught about proper house manners.
If you would like to meet this beautiful little girl please send in your completed application found at our web site www.RescueAChi.com and we will give you a call to set up a time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Juanita, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
