Oreo's Story...
Oreo was originally adopted from the Humane Society to be part of our Second Chance Feline Blood Donation Program. He is a blood donor and has helped to save many lives of other sick felines. He needs a loving and forever home! Oreo is such a sweet cat. He loves affection, but also requires her daily cat naps. When he is sleeping, he is unaware of the world around him and gets in some good beauty sleep. He is an affectionate cat that loves to sit in your lap, make biscuits and purr. Oreo is great with kids of all ages and is very playful!

Oreo is neutered and litter box trained.

Oreo has tested negative for FeLV, FIV and FIP.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Colorado Springs Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
