Aspen's Story...
Hi, I'm Aspen, a little black and white female. My unique markings indicate I'm likely part Snowshoe, which is a rare varient of Siamese. I have four siblings and we are all looking for our forever homes. I am very inquisitive and I LOVE to play. I know my forever home is out there and I hope I will be adopted soon. Maybe that family will consider adopting me with one of my brothers or sisters or another kitty - or even my mom! Then I will have someone to play with all the time!

My estimated date of birth is 4/8/12. My adoption fee of $135 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, deworming, microchip and spay.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
