Bachi's Story...
If you want a perfect cat don’t look any further!!!

Bachi is perfect for a family with small kids. Gentle and patient with little humans means he will be a great part of the family. In his foster home, he is best friends with a 2 year old girl and older cat. He is the first one to arrive by the side of the toddler who is crying, making sure she is ok and to comfort her. He doesn't meow much, only to call his furry foster brother to play. He loves being close, but will not be too demanding about it. Bachi has the most unique markings that pictures cannot show in their full glory. He really needs for his forever home to have a playmate (other cat). He became best buddies with the resident cat in his foster home within 5 minutes. He also loves to play with people and toys.

You can meet Bachi at Wilmette Pet, 625 Green Bay Road, anytime during store hours 7 days a week. (847-251-6750 Although you may want to adopt him on the spot, please know that you will have to go through the application process first.

His estimated date of birth is 4/8/12. His adoption fee of $115 includes: vet exam, feline leukemia/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, microchip and neutering.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bachi, a Mt. Prospect Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
