Kaitlyn von Ryan's Story...
These gorgeous 8 week old pups (3 boys and a girl) are looking for their forever families. Mom is a smaller Aussie mix (she's around 30-35 pounds) and from the look of the pups dad might have been a German Shepherd. (a couple of the pups have a bluish tint to their fur which might come from dad if he was a 'Blue shepherd' - they're rare and just stunning). Although we can't guarantee adult size, we think the pups might grow to be 50-60 pounds as adults. (again, this is hard to tell so we're just guessing)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaitlyn von Ryan, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
