Squeeky's Story...
This little bundle of cuteness is squeeky. She was abandoned and left in gentleman's wood pile, during a cold, rainy night, he heard her crying and found her cold, wet and hungry. He was not able to keep her as his dog was not used to cats. She is 6 wks old, weights 1 1/2 lbs. a darling little short hair grey tabby. Sweet and friendly, loves to cuddle with her new stuffed teddy bear. She is current on her vaccinations but will not be spayed until she adds another 1/2 lb. She will then be able to go to her new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squeeky, a Colville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
