Maddie's Story...
Maddie is a beautiful, sweet baby girl. She started out this life very neglected. She was dumped at the local shelter with her brother Mack. She had about 50 ticks attached to her, suffering from malnutrition, respiratory infection, a broken leg and marked for euthanasia. Rescue-A-Bull was fortunate enough to pull her and her brother. Maddie's foster parents think she is the sweetest thing. Full of life and very fun! Maddie's leg has finally healed. She runs around like a crazy nut making up for lost time. She loves rough-housing with her brother Mack. If you have any additional questions about Maddie, please e-mail me at My name is Ginger and I'm Maddie's foster Mom.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maddie, a Killen American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Killen, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Killen.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Killen already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Killen breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Killen paves the way for another one to be saved.
