ZOE's Story...
HI!! My name is Zoe!!!!! I am only 4 months old, but somehow I found myself in a scary animal shelter after such a short life. Well, guess what?!? I made it out of the shelter and am now in what I am told is a foster home. The other dogs tell me this is just a temporary place to stay while I look for my forever home, but it sure is fun here!
I am looking for a loving active family who wants to spoil me rotten. I am alert and playful and I love toys! I love other dogs of all sizes. I also do well with kitty cats. I also adore children, they always give me treats and sneak me yummy food. They rock!
My foster mommy tells me that I'll one day grow into my ears, I think that they are just fine, they give me character.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I am crate trained! I do very well in my crate and I sleep thru the night. I am also very smart and eager to learn everything you can teach.

If I sound like the perfect puppy for your family please contact DFWGSR today! Luv, Zoe!

Adoption fee is $350.00; this includes spay/neuter, HW test, all vaccinations, microchip and microchip registration. If you are interested in a dog in DFW German Shepherd Rescue's program, please e-mail us at for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ZOE, a Fort Worth German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
