Family of 4's Story...
This remaining family of four, used to be a family of 5, but the neutered male passed away in their last adoptive home.

This group was originally surrendered a couple of years back, adopted, re-surrendered, readopted, and re-re-surrendered through no fault of their own. Life circumstances just seem to be the bad fate of these poor babies.

Muddy is a heterozygous beige who littered the two very, very tiny girls named Pickles and Spawn. Muddy is a sweetie.

NuNu is a drop dead gorgeous violet colored chin who was originally purchased along with Muddy. They were weaned together, and have been together ever since. NuNu is a creampuff of a chin.

The two "babies" are wild, crazy and full of energy. Their personalities are much more like their father's was. Pickles is a hetero beige like her mama. Spawn (as in Devil's spawn) is the standard grey, spitting image of her father.

The family must remain intact as they are all tightly bonded. They do come with their extra large cage and tons of supplies.

Adoption fee: $300 Comes with complete, extra large cage setup.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Family of 4, a Virginia Beach Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
