Jewels's Story...
My name is Jewels, I am about 3 months old, (dob March 2012) my mother was dropped off in the country and left to take care of herself, she had 8 puppies and took good care of us. My mom looks like a Labradore Retriever but I don't know what my dad is. Someone found us and took us to this family to find us forever homes. I have lots of love to give and am good with children, cats, and other dogs. I love to snuggle and play games; I'm independent, confident, affectionate, and outgoing. My foster Mom says that I've been a really great dog. I need a loving, affectionate family who can help me grown into a wonderful adult dog...I hope you are that family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewels, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
