Basil's Story...
Basil is just the cutest 10 week-old Yorkie/Chi mix who would not sit still for this photo! A darling ball of playful energy, he is a lot of fun to have around and would make a fantastic addition to a loving home that has the time for a young puppy. Preferably with another dog for company. He will not be placed on a first come, first serve basis. Basil is small but not t-cup so will probably be around 10lbs when full grown. He is also more likely to be hypoallergenic and not shed. Basil is up-to-date on shots, vet checked, micro-chipped and de-wormed. He also comes with a free vet visit to our vet in Studio City.
Basil is currently being crate/paper trained and socialized with other dogs in his foster home. He is a wonderful little guy who deserves a wonderful home. If you think that could be you, please email for an application and tell us a little about yourself. Adoption fee and contract apply. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Basil, a Los Angeles Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
