Daisy's Story...
This is Daisy! She is an 8 month old 7-8lbs, spayed female Chihuahua puppy. Daisy was found as a stray and was scheduled to be euthanized due to her shyness. Daisy is shy at first, but warms up and will follow you and curl up in your lap. She likes to play with other small dogs, but is afraid of large dogs. Daisy does NOT like cats, she likes to boss them around. Daisy is a kid magnet(8 yrs and up please), she gets so excited around children! Daisy is a wonderful little pup and would make any family complete, please open your heart to Daisy! Daisy is under 1 yr, so her adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Fort Collins Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Fort Collins, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Fort Collins.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Collins already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Collins breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Collins paves the way for another one to be saved.
