FIV Siamese's Info...

Breed: Siamese Color: Cream Or Ivory (Mostly) Age: Adult
Sex: Male Hair: Short
FIV Siamese's Story...
Beautiful, gentle, but very shy/semi-feral siamese.

Trapped as a stray and brought to a high kill shelter as an intact 2-3 year old male. Taken in by his foster mother - tested, neutered, and vaccinated - and unfortunately found to be FIV positive.

He's FeLV neg, has been treated for ear mites and fleas and had a broken/infected tooth removed. So, now - other than his FIV status - is a healthy boy. Very beautiful and gentle - but scared.

He's hoping for a miracle where someone with other FIV cats will take him in and love him for who he is.

Rescue Group Info...

About Our Rescue Group...
Purrfect Pals is made up of a small number of caring volunteers. Most of the cats and kittens taken in are strays or orphans brought in to a local veterinary hospital for help and from there taken in to try to secure them a lasting and loved future.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We do not have a shelter - cats are in private foster homes. So, we try to see if we have a potential match or matches, then usually set up a meeting at the veterinary hospital where many of us work.
Our Adoption Process...
All cats and kittens are FeLV/FIV tested, started on vaccines, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Adult cats are generally $60 and kittens are generally $70.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

FIV Siamese, a SantaRosa Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in SantaRosa, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in SantaRosa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in SantaRosa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a SantaRosa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in SantaRosa paves the way for another one to be saved.
