If you would like to adopt this horse or know of any legitimate rescues that would be willing to take this precious horse on, please contact us. It is vitally important that we keep these horses from the slaughter house. For any legitimate 501(c)(3) organization, private sanctuary, or one of our previous adopters in good standings we will gladly waive the adoption fee. Adoption fee to first time adopters is $400. Our top priority is to get them into great homes.

About Our Shelter...
Horse Plus Humane Society is the largest and most active horse welfare and rescue organization in the world. We are dedicated to preventing cruelty to horses, and prosecuting the cruelty inflictors to the full extent of the law. We work for the prevention of cruelty to horses and all other animals through education, voluntary compliance, law enforcement, and arrest and seizure if needed. At our shelter near Oroville Ca we typically have between 25 and 50 horses available for adoption to pre-approved adopters. Our staff and volunteers work together to do the greatest amount of good we can. We are a 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization that relies on your donations for all of the costs associated with animal welfare and care!
Our shelter facility is over 50 acre with over 30,000 square feet of barn and office space. The facility has acres and acres of irrigated fenced and cross fenced pastures, 3 ponds, indoor riding arena, 10 horse stalls with room for many more stalls, soon to be vet hospital.
