Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Barney is one fun and smart young boy. Teetering on one year old, he is most likely a mix of Beagle (you can see it i his face and habits and hear it in his bark)and Jack Russell Terrier (his shorter stature, agility and brains), so you get the brains of one breed, and the instincts of the other. Nose to the ground, Barney is also ready to run and play. Barney has amazing agility too, and loves activity as much as affection.
Barney gets along great with other dogs his size or larger (he's hovering at around 25 pounds), and though he wants to play with our smaller dogs, his agility and speed can sometimes scare them. He does love to chase cats, so no cats for him.
Barney is crate trained, and appears to be house-trained (we have only had him a few days and not one accident yet). He is calm in the midst of chaos and is ready, willing and able to become the best he can be with a family to call his own.
