Roscoe's Story...
Meet sweet Roscoe. This sweet laid back boy would be an awesome addition to most any family. Roscoe is a young boy about 1 -2 years old, but he is already housetrained and behaves well in the house. He plays with his toys and is crate-trained too. Roscoe is a mix – possibly a Spring Spaniel or Foxhound. But is 100% pure love – he adores his people and other dogs. While in the shelter he was used to temperament test other dogs because he enjoyed being with other dogs so much. However, he’d likely do okay as only dog too because he LOVES his people too. Roscoe is laid back and can be found sleeping on his back with all four paws in the air – it’s just really hard not to love this boy. He has done well walking with his foster family on a leash and walks at a good pace with them. Roscoe is neutered, up to date on all his shots, heartworm negative, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. He is a great dog all around and deserves a great FORever home. Is that with you?? If so, please email us at info@FORrescue.net for an application today. Roscoe is being fostered in Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Reynoldsburg Springer Spaniel/Foxhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Springer Spaniel/Foxhound for sale in Reynoldsburg, or seeking a Springer Spaniel/Foxhound dog from a breeder in Reynoldsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reynoldsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reynoldsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Springer Spaniel/Foxhound breeders who help with Springer Spaniel/Foxhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reynoldsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
