Val's Story...
Adorable Val is a 10-week-old red heeler mix who was recently rescued after being abandoned at a vet clinic with her siblings. She is a smart little girl and loves attention! It is easy to tell by watching Val and playing with her that she will be very easy to train. She makes eye contact well, is eager to please and already responds to her name and understands "no" and "come." Val does great sleeping through the night in her kennel and has done perfect with puppy pad training so far. She does well with her siblings and loves playing in the yard, rolling in the grass and playing tug-o-war. She also LOVES her people and enjoys cuddle time. Val one smart cookie and will make an awesome addition to any family! She will be available for adoption on 6/30/12.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Val, a Arlington Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
