Lilly's Story...
Lilly is a white, short haired, curly tailed dog born May 2010. She hopes to find a home with her brother Marley but may also be adopted separately. Both were left at a kill shelter when their owner moved out of state. Lilly is athletic, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. She walks on a leash and will sit for a treat. She has a precious brown nose and quickly grins when you show her attention. Lilly weighs about 22 pounds. Email petsavernc@bellsouth.net for an application for Lilly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Chapel Hill Rat Terrier/Feist dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier/Feist for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a Rat Terrier/Feist dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier/Feist breeders who help with Rat Terrier/Feist rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
