DENNIS's Story...
You may meet and apply to adopt Dennis at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, JULY 8th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Dennis is a male Schnauzer/Terrier mix puppy only 8 weeks old (will be 8 weeks on July 8th). He should grow to be a small/medium sized dog, possibly 15 pounds or so full grown. Dennis is a spunky, busy little guy who has no idea that he is a baby puppy. Dennis is extremely bold, social, confident and outgoing. He will run up to meet anyone he pleases without a second thought. He plays with abandon and is hilarious with his antics. Dennis has an extra share of spirit, that's for sure. He is the first one to investigate a new toy and will race around with it proudly in his mouth for all to see (and envy). He loves to be the center of attention and has no problem doing whatever it takes to get there. Luckily, he is so incredibly cute that he gets away with everything and is guaranteed to make you laugh. Dennis gets along great with other dogs and they better love to play if they want to keep up with him! Dennis is already very well socialized and loves people. He will follow you everywhere and you never have to worry about losing him because he is always right behind you. He is good with kids, but will do better with older children since he tends to like chewing on body parts. Dennis is puppy pad/paper trained and well on his way to learning good potty habits. He will be a barrel of fun for someone who wants a lively, social, friendly little guy to play with. He is truly darling in person.

Dennis's adoption donation is $400. He will be NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Dennis is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Melanie.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DENNIS, a Newport Beach Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
