Filbert's Story...
Hi! My name is Filbert. I was rescued from Southern California and put on a plane to Grace. My rescuers are not quite sure how old I am or what breed I am because I was left on the curb outside the shelter. They think that I am about 2 months old. I might be part Labrador but for 2 months I'm a little small for a Lab so my rescuers can't be sure. One thing they do know for sure though is that I am one cute little boy! I am a sweet playful puppy and I like to be held as well. I might now know who my doggie family was but I will make a great addition to your family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Filbert, a El Dorado Hills Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in El Dorado Hills, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in El Dorado Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Dorado Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Dorado Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Dorado Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
