Here's what the humans have to say about me:
GRADY'S story is so sad it's difficult to write. He had a collar put on him when he was a small pup and left that way . Never adjusted as he grew to be a 47 lbs - 1 yr old boy. Picked up as a stray and brought to the shelter, the aco's noticed the collar and went to remove it only to find his neck had grown over it. It was chocking him and we don't know how he survived this long but he had to be in pain every day.
They were able to cut it off , removed it and cleaned it up but then asked for help. Time , medication and great vet care healed it he was left with a scar under his neck but he is a beautiful boy. he has one ear up and one down. He's been neutered and had all his vaccines. Poor Grady is shy and nervous but knows we're trying to help him. He is a gorgeous dog. Grady needs someone to show him love and attention.
He will be ready for a loving and caring home. If you can take Grady in please email for an application.
