I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ann's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Ann's Story...
Ann showed up at a church which is on highway 70 and the staff there was very concerned about her safety and welfare being so close to traffic. ...She was praying for a home!
She has been examined and tested for FeLV/FIV screening (which was negative), given her vaccinations (distemper, rabies and FeLV), and deworming. Ann is spayed and is still looking for her forever home and for her prayers to be answered.

Are you interested in adopting Ann or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org , faxed to 919-300-5524 or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Ann.

Thanks for thinking adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ann, a Smithfield Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
