Binx's Story...
My name is Binx and I am short-haired spayed young adult female kitty. I am around 3 1/2 years old. I am the sweetest kitty you will ever meet. I am most comfortable in your lap or cuddle very close next to you. I get along with everyone including my canine buddies at my foster home. I enjoy having toys and a nice bed to call my own.

I was found lying in the middle of the road from exhaustion during all the heat we were having in the last few weeks of July 2011. A very nice couple stopped to see if I was okay. Boy was I so grateful, they took me home and nursed me with small amounts of water and food for I was so thirsty and hungry. They gave me a cool place to rest my body. By morning, I was feeling so much better. They contacted WCR and they offered to help me find a new home and receive all the medical that I needed. I have been spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, negative for FeLv/FIV/HW, wormed, flea treatment and I am litter box trained too.

If you think I am the right kitty for you, complete the application today and come help me pack my bags. You will have a forever friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Binx, a Spotsylvania American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Spotsylvania, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Spotsylvania.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Spotsylvania already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Spotsylvania breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Spotsylvania paves the way for another one to be saved.
