Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB 9-2007 My name is Aldo, and I have been abused. Like many of the animals of second hand purrs, my story is a sad one but I'm much happier to be here at the shelter. I was adopted as a kitten and was never properly taken care of. My owners took care of their other cat, but never took care of me. They took the other cat to the vet, but never me, never in 4 years of owning me. When I came to SHP, I was a little cranky and after a vet visit they recommended that I get a dental done. The vet said that I was missing most of my front teeth and it was probable that I was kicked in the face. I just don't understand why my previous owners wouldn't have brought me back sooner instead of continuing to abuse me, and why they got me in the first place if they didn't want to take care of me. My name is Aldo, and although my story may be sad I am still a young cat and I am still able to love. I am very sweet and affectionate and would love a home by myself, with no other pets (dogs or cats). If you want to come and meet me, your first impression may not be the best, I'm still adjusting so please be patient. I do love to be petted, and cuddled but on my terms of course (I am a cat!). If you think you are a one-cat-person, than it's very possible that I may be the cat for you. Please come in and meet me today!
